Help Joanne Fulfill Her Last Wish

Our mom, Joanne, is currently fighting metastatic brain cancer. This is the third time in her life that she has had to face this awful disease!

20 years ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After receiving radiation treatment and a partial mastectomy, she was cancer free. In January 2023, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. After receiving high doses of chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy on February 14, 2024, she was cancer free. In March 2024, she heard those dreaded words again when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She underwent 2 brain surgeries and high doses of stereotactic radiation which were deemed successful. Now in July 2024, she has been told that the brain cancer is back and has progressively spread throughout her entire brain. The only thing left to do is undergo palliative radiation to treat her symptoms and relieve some of her pain that this is causing her. The Dr has told my mom to live every day like it is her last!

Our mother has spent her whole life taking care of other people. She was a CNA/HHA for most of her adult career. She is a wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of 5, all whom she has helped taken care of and provided for. Not to mention all of the step grandchildren and husbands and wives that she has gained along the way. She is an amazing woman and means the world to so many of us.

Mom has one wish left on her bucket list. It has been a dream of hers to be able to visit Tennessee with her family. She has been talking about wishing to do this for so long, more so in these last few months but has been unable to afford to do so with all the medical bills. Just her copays alone have cost a fortune! She has had to go to the dr daily and then at least 2-3 days a week which costs $40/day for office visits and $350 copay for imaging!

Our family would love nothing more than to make this wish come true for her but we need your help! She deserves far more than just this trip but we know this will make her so very happy and we want nothing more than to see her smile again!
