Help Jodi Fight Metastatic Breast Cancer

My name is Marlana Dokken, a long-time friend of Jodi Esch (nee DeBenedetto). Jodi has survived breast cancer twice and is now fighting cancer that has metastasized to her bones (stage 4).

After her 2nd bout of breast cancer, Jodi felt that God gave her a 2nd chance at life so she went back to school to become a nurse to help others with the same compassion she felt from nurses during her own treatment. She became an RN in 2020 and is currently the school nurse responsible for a 1800 student body high school.

Jodi and her husband have always lived within their means and worked hard to take care of themselves. Jodi is still working, but in addition to medical bills, any time off or leave during treatment will be unpaid.

Jodi was originally from Rockford, Illinois, but has made her home in Glendale, Arizona. She is a Boylan, Guilford, and ASU alumni. ❤️
