Hi friends,
     As some of you may know, Jody has been diagnosed with Stage IV Metatastic Esophageal Cancer.  It has spread to her liver and bones.  She has had a palliative hip replacement due to bone loss, and has started chemo and radiation to slow the progression of the disease. 

     The diagnosis came while in her seventh month of job hunting, after her seasonal work at a nursery was over.  The financial strain has been very difficult, including trying to make ends meet with her mortgage, utilities, insurance, etc.  She has signed up for many services, but obtaining them takes time.
