Help Our Father Joe After a Tragic Car Accident and Loss

On October 10th, 2024, our world was shattered when our beautiful mother, Esther Abouab, was violently taken from us in a tragic car crash. A reckless driver racing through a residential neighborhood ran through a red light and collided with our parents’ car. The force of the impact sent them across four lanes of traffic and into the gate of an underground garage. Our mother succumbed to her devastating injuries, while our precious father Joe was left in serious condition with two shattered ankles and several other serious injuries. He has already undergone significantly complicated surgeries and remains hospitalized, facing a long and challenging road to recovery.

As we navigate this unimaginable loss, our family has not been given the time to grieve as our fathers’ recovering journey is just beginning. His injuries have left him bedridden and unable to walk. He will require around-the-clock care and an arduous amount of intensive physical therapy to regain mobility.

Our mother was a vibrant, joyful, and deeply spiritual woman who loved life. She woke up every morning to say a prayer for those she loved, none more than her family. She was the heart and glue of our family. Married to our father for 58 beautiful years, they shared the same soul, and their love was a testament to the strength of commitment and compassion, it was bond that was truly inspiring.

We are humbly reaching out for help to cover funeral expenses for our beloved mother and the mounting medical costs for our father’s care. The emotional and financial weight of this tragedy is immense, and any contribution, no matter how small, will significantly impact our ability to provide him with the care and support he needs to recover.
