Help Joe Grim Fight Blood Cancer
Donation protected
Joe Grim is a loving father, husband, son and brother. In the fall of 2019 he started to feel unwell. After multiple trips to his doctor, ER, an endoscope, countless blood test and a bone marrow biopsy it was determined that Joe has a rare form of blood cancer called myelofibrosis. Myelofibrosis is a disease that effects the body's bone marrow and blood counts. In most cases it effects people over the age of 50. Joe's mutation is one if left untreated will turn into a more aggressive form of leukemia. In order to treat this disease Joe has to have a bone marrow transplant. The doctors at Strong Hospital in Rochester, NY have found Joe a great match and are hopeful that the transplant process will go smoothly. The transplant is set to take place this February 2020.
He is moving along strong waiting for the big day with help from his amazing wife Alli and his two awesome boys Salem and Torin. The process will keep him out of work for 6-12 months. His tattoo shop and his clients will be patiently waiting for his return. The medications and living expenses over this time period will be costly. We hope you can help by providing financial support for Joe and his family through this tough time.
All donations are appreciated and we thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Joe's Family
