Help Joe Kennedy IV After Life-Altering Injury
Donation protected
Our dear friend Joseph J. Kennedy IV suffered a devastating fall, and at the hospital, doctors discovered a large tumor that encircled Joe's upper spinal column. The doctors immediately performed major spinal surgery to successfully remove the tumor and fuse his spine — but Joe now has a life-long condition known as quadriparesis.* (see below) Similar to quadriplegia, this has significantly impaired the functioning of his arms, hands, and legs, and essentially has left Joe paralyzed. Despite his hard work and dedication to his recovery, Joe’s needs are overwhelming and will remain so for years to come. He is residing in a long-term facility and requires a great deal of care. Joe must now use a customized electric wheelchair and an assortment of braces and splints.
Facing a long and difficult road ahead, Joe very much needs our help. Even with insurance, the economic toll is staggering. Joe's many medical expenses include the costs of ongoing physical and occupational therapy, specialized equipment, and continuous care from skilled medical professionals.
Please consider supporting Joe at this extremely challenging time. All money for Joe's needs is being held in a trust fund at Achieva** (see below) No donation is too big or too small. Joe asks that you also spread the word to his classmates, co-workers, colleagues, and friends by clicking the SHARE button. Thank you so much for joining us in contributing vital funds for Joe’s future.
