Help Joe lose a kidney!

Hi, my name is Haylee and I’m raising funds to help my husband and our family.

In September of this year, Joe went to the ER with severe flank pain on his right side. After a CT, they said he had a small kidney stone. They also casually slid in there that he had a lesion on the opposite side and would need a CT with contrast to better determine what it was. After that CT, we learned it was a large 6cm mass on his left kidney. Since then we have been to every kind of doctor you can imagine. The West Clinic believes it probably is cancer based on it’s size and his age, but doesn’t want to put him through a biopsy when it just has to come out as soon as possible anyway.

Surgery to remove his entire kidney and lymph nodes around it is scheduled for 12/16/22. He will have to be off of work for around 6 weeks and his job does not pay him disability. While I’m going to do everything I can, we are a one income family. I still have to take care of the kids and Joe full time. He is the best husband and father and always helps anyone he can. I want to help take some stress off of him and let him be able to heal. We sincerely do not like asking for help, but we’ve come to realize that we really need it right now.
