Help Joe Schmidt & Family Post Kidney Transplant

Joe Schmidt, The 38-year-old married father of six learned about 18 months ago that his only kidney was failing. Joe donated a kidney to his sister in 2008. The siblings share a rare genetic form of chronic kidney disease. In 2020 Joe's only remaining kidney failed. This meant Joe would require dialysis many hours daily to keep him alive.

Fast Foward to October 27th, 2022. Joseph and Angie Schmidt got the call that a kidney matching Joe's blood type was available for him. They quickly made their way to Rochester, Minnesota;... After a series of tests, the family was informed the kidney was a good fit for Joe, and they were ready for surgery.

Friday, October 28th, 2022 The surgery is now complete. It was a success !!

Now is when WE can answer the rest of the prayers by helping this family with all of the unforeseen medical, travel, child care, and miscellaneous expenses that are sure to arise.
