Help Joe Solis with Funeral Expenses

Louis Solis was killed in a car accident early Sunday morning on Jan 17, 2021 and without any final arrangements made, Joe Solis (his son) is having to take care of all finances himself and could use some assistance. With final arrangements being so costly any thing will help!!!

Louis Solis was an Army Veteran and also served 20+ years as a police officer with Harris County and Stafford Police departments.

He was a part of the first tactical swat unit as a sniper and also developed a motorcycle unit for SPD as well . He was also a loving father of a son and a daughter. Most would describe him as the typical “patriotic cowboy” who always did what he could for others.

These are Joe's words:

It is with deep hurt in my heart to announce my father Louis Solis was killed in an accident early this morning. I am still trying to wrap my head around this notion of my father really being gone. I wouldn’t normally share something like this but this platform gives me an opportunity to let as many people know of my fathers passing.

I’m in shock and disbelief of this entire thing and wished it was all a bad dream but it’s not..... I don’t really know how to process this all. He was my dad, my daddy my example of NEVER GIVE UP!!! He hurt daily and the damn VA just kept giving him the run around. Now you don’t have to hurt any more papi!

The main thing my father taught me was that no matter what not to judge him for his mistakes but to judge him on how he MADE UP for his mistakes! He was not a perfect man by any stretch but he always loved his family and the people around him regardless of how they felt about him. He always wanted people to like him and that was his downfall sometimes.

He showed me that no matter what you do anything for your family, you give it all for you family, you make whatever your doing important.

Papi I so wanted to grow my company big enough so I could let you come and go as you please and have a position with me. You were ALWAYS one of my biggest fans.... I cannot believe I will not get to ever speak to you again. I know I sucked as a son and there would be times that you would go months without talking until YOU called me and I tried to call you more the last year. This sucks cause I could have done better.... God I am seriously struggling right now with my faith but all I ask is that you grant my dad your mercy and give him those amazing angel wings that St Christopher has along with a sword and shield as I know God he will be a warrior for you anytime!!!!

He loved his family, his daughter and her family, me and my family, his grandkids, his current family and his past families.
