Help Joey Get a New Engine for His Car

My name is Joey Reynoso. I work multiple jobs as a teacher, nanny, tutor, yoga instructor and delivery person. Many of these jobs and sources are income are heavily dependent on my ability to use my car and for the last 4 weeks my car has been out of commission. I was swindled by a mechanic who held my car for 3 weeks and charged me $750 for a solution that did not fix my car’s problems. When he “finally discovered” what was wrong, he wanted to charge $5500 to install an used engine. What is more unfortunate about this timing is that for the first time as a teacher I will not be paid through the month of August. My savings which I have to dive into for previous repairs was intended to help me pay my bills and living expenses for the month of August. Additionally, since I’ve been unable to do deliveries the month of July as I had to intended it’s caused another major blow. I have taken the car to two mechanics, one can repair my car and replace my engine (with a new engine) for $4000 and another can install an used one for $3000. I’m looking to raise funds to offset or completely cover the cost of repair. I currently own my 2012 Prius which is completely paid off and this type of repair would insure the longevity of my car and my ability to survive & thrive. I continue to work my multiple jobs as of now at the capacity that I can, attempting to save as much as I can and doing so biking and taking the metro. I have to admit though I am exhausted and find myself dedicating around 14 hours some days to working. I always love to contribute to GoFundMe funds when times are good and I am able to, I graciously accept any contribution that will make such an impactful change of my life and well-being.
