Help Joey Get An Electric Portable Wheelchair

We are trying to fundraise to get Joey an electric wheelchair that is portable enough for me to load into our car so he can use it outside the home. Also, he will be able to use it inside the home as it is portable and light enough for me to lift into the house. We went for an evaluation and they had a marvelous electric wheelchair that would fit his needs in every way but it weight around 400lbs  We have a two story house and it would only be able to be used in two rooms, not upstairs or even outside. we don't have a ramp to get in and out of our house. More so, I dont have a handicapp accessible van, they cost $50,000 to $60,000. He could not use it to travel locally even. 

Joey wanted the electric wheelchair so bad, he was really disappointed when we could not get it. As most of you know, Joey has Mucolipidosis,  an incurable, untreatable, degenerative disease  Over the last two years, more so the last year, his mobility has declined considerably. He can no longer walk unassisted. He is in constant pain that cannot be managed through pain meds anymore. He will have double knee surgery soon to address his knee issues, he is walking on bone on bone. A lot of the time he needs help getting up from chairs, depending on his stiffness and pain level. It's really become heart breaking . 

I've looked around and this wheelchair fits his needs the best. We have to take into account if I am able to lift the wheelchair  This is 43lbs and I'm certain i can do it. 

We are selling his adult trike to use towards this chair, as he is no longer able to use it. So, please help us get the mobility equipment that will not only fit his knees but will also give him some independence.  Thanks everyone.
