Help Joey Pro-Enriquez Fight Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jose, known by my friends and family as "Joey." Three weeks ago, I started to feel more fatigued than usual. I work as a mail carrier, and election years are the busiest periods, so I didn't give the fatigue a second thought. My symptoms then escalated to pain in my lower right abdominal area. Still, I thought it was indigestion or something minor. A week later, I visited my chiropractor, who noticed my eyes were yellow in color and urged me to go to the emergency room immediately, as this could be an indication that my liver was in distress.
As I sat in the emergency room with my wife, a doctor came in to discuss the results. Our world was turned upside down. The doctor told us they found cancer in the liver and colon. These last two weeks have been a whirlwind of confusion and emotions as the provider teams work together to help stabilize an active infection in order to start chemotherapy. Biopsy results confirmed it is stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to my liver and lining of my stomach.
This is very difficult for me to share, and I ask for your support as I begin the biggest battle of my life. Your donations will help my family with medical expenses for my treatment and ease some of the financial burden these devastating circumstances have brought, leaving me unable to work and provide for my household.
My sincerest gratitude for your support and donations.
