Help John Barsby's First Ultimate Frisbee Team Get Jerseys!

My husband, Aaron Loach, and I are fundraising for an incredible group of students at John Barsby Secondary, who are making history as the school's first-ever Ultimate Frisbee team!

Aaron is a Careers and Physical Health & Education teacher on contract at John Barsby this year. He is an experienced Ultimate Frisbee player and coach. In Fall of 2024, he played on Team Canada at the World Master's Ultimate Championship where they won gold! He’s thrilled to be helping launch this brand-new team and introduce students to the sport.

Why Ultimate?

Ultimate is a fast-growing, inclusive sport that fosters teamwork, leadership, and community. These 20 dedicated students have been showing up, practicing hard, and building something special together. But they’re missing one key piece: team jerseys to wear with pride on the field.

Many of these students work long hours outside of school to help support their families, making it difficult to contribute to team expenses. Despite these challenges, they’re passionate, committed, and actively fundraising—but we need a little extra help to make this dream a reality.
