Help Our Dad John Callanan Beat COVID
Donation protected
Our dear friend John Callanan came down with Covid back in July. After all options at Good Samaritan Hospital had failed, he was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in a final attempt to keep him alive. John was rushed into surgery and placed on an ecmo machine, a ventilator, and dialysis--all which have been keeping him alive since. This Sunday will mark six weeks since he has been in a medically induced coma.
John is a loving husband, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a friend, and the most amazing father to his 7 children who have not left his side. This will be a long road to recovery for John and for the Callanan's, as their lives are now completely changed.
So many people have reached out over the past month showing love through prayers, food, cards, advice, knowledge, and connections. Kim, Connor, Kristi, Kayla, Kerri, Kiera, Colin and Carson truly can’t thank you enough. Without the support from the community they would be absolutely lost right now. However, as this battle continues, they will need a lot more help.
This Go Fund me was started to help this family, who I personally consider my second family, through this crisis. If you cannot support financially a simple prayer or share means just as much. On behalf of The Callanan’s, we love and thank you all for helping us fight to bring John home again.
