Help John Gee Fight Mantle Cell Lymphoma
Donation protected
Dear Community, Friends, and Family,
John Gee, a pillar of our communities in Black Earth, Mazomanie, and the Sauk Prairie area, is facing an uphill battle, one that no one should face alone. At 56, after having dedicated his life to his family and his community, John has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Mantle Cell Lymphoma with a TP53 mutation. While he celebrated a brief period of remission, the illness has made a harrowing reappearance in his brain.
John's roots in our community run deep. Many of you might know him from his years in Mazomanie, or from the time he spent in the Sauk Prairie area. His wife, Dana, who many from the class of '90 at Sauk Prairie High School would remember fondly, stands resiliently by his side. Together, they've raised three incredible children, two of whom are navigating the challenges of college, while the third, married to a Marine, recently brought joy to John and Dana's lives with the birth of a beautiful granddaughter.
It's heartbreaking to think that the cost of treatment might be a barrier to John's fight against this illness. The specific treatment he requires is prohibitively expensive and is not covered by insurance. However, we believe in the power of community and collective effort.
We are reaching out to you, our extended family, to help John and his family in this time of dire need. Your support, be it financial, emotional, or through sharing this cause, will go a long way in ensuring that John gets the treatment he desperately needs and deserves.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring John one step closer to beating this cancer and spending many more years with his loved ones. Let's rally behind John and show him the strength of the community that he's always been an integral part of.
With heartfelt gratitude,
