Help John Helms Survive & Pay Rent

Hello there, My name is Clint. I am fundraising for John Helms so he can afford to pay for rent & groceries after a debilitating accident. John broke a vertebrae in his lower back about 5 years ago & his condition has worsened over time to the point where he fell & couldn’t get up off the ground by himself recently. He has been going through treatment but can barely get around even with the assistance of a walker at this point. His main source of income has been the buying and selling of collectibles & antiques. This requires his mobility, being able to drive around & search for goods that he can resell at flea markets. That source of income is unavailable to him now because he cannot get around like he used to. What little money he gets from social security doesn’t even come close to paying his rent in the high stakes real estate city of San Francisco. John is 78 years old & may need back surgery if his body can even handle it at this point. He is in constant, debilitating pain & is in need of assistance.

John is an extremely sweet, kind & generous person as anyone who has come in contact with him will attest to. He is the brother of San Francisco Rock n’ Roll legend Chet Helms who passed on back in 2005. John is a living part of the scene that helped shape the free thinking, alternative San Francisco that we know & love. He is in need of our help right now & anything you can spare would be Greatly appreciated.
