Help John Hernandez Honor Lee's Legacy

We are heartbroken to share the news of the untimely passing of Lee Hernandez, a cherished member of our St. Pius community. Lee was a familiar face in activities at St. Pius leading the Young Ladies Institute and active member of the Seniors Group, Grieving Group. Lee was also a longtime minister of Holy Communion at Mass and to the sick and homebound. You would find Lee at the daily 8 am mass and was always volunteering to help with church envelopes for Christmas and Lent newsletters. We will all miss her sweet nature, generous heart, and infectious smile.

Lee leaves behind her two adult children who are facing an unimaginable loss. Often, we would see Lee and her son John at many St. Pius festivities such as our Festival or Crab Feast. In honor of Lee's legacy and to support John during this difficult time, we are establishing this GoFundme campaign. The funds raised will provide financial assistance to help cover immediate expenses and support the Hernandez family as they navigate this challenging journey ahead.
