Help John Mataxas Heal After Tragic Car Accident
Donation protected
On what should have been the start of a proud new chapter, John Mataxas’ life was changed in an instant. Just weeks before he was set to join the U.S. Air Force on May 1, John was hit head-on by a drunk driver. His vehicle was mangled beyond recognition, and first responders had to cut him from the wreckage to save his life.
John suffered catastrophic injuries: both ankles shattered, a broken right femur, broken tibia and fibula in both legs, and two fractured ribs. He is now facing a long and painful road to recovery, physically and emotionally. What’s even more heartbreaking is that the future he worked so hard for is now uncertain.
Despite it all, John’s spirit remains strong. He’s fighting every day to heal and stay hopeful—but the burden is heavy. Medical bills are rapidly piling up, and his insurance coverage has not yet taken effect. He’s overwhelmed with the prospect of starting over and unsure how to support himself during this difficult time.
We’re asking for your help. Every donation will go directly toward John’s medical expenses, rehabilitation, and daily living costs while he works to rebuild his life. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this with your network.
Let’s show John that he’s not alone. Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
