Help John Peine

The man who has helped so many now needs your help…

After retiring from Riverdale Police Dept as Captain, John Peine has been living his retirement dream in Montana with his wife Dawn, working at a farm and ranch store, while caring for his horses, donkeys, chickens and beloved dogs (he currently has six!)

As you may know, this past October, he contacted Covid and had to be put on a ventilator on October 31st. He was very, very sick. Many of you have been praying for his health and he definitely feels your prayers. 

Thankfully, John was doing well enough to be taken off the ventilator on Monday, November 7th and it has been a slow but steady recovery process. 

He has had a few setbacks with recovery, mostly trying to continue gaining strength and keep his lungs clear. John is currently still in the ICU on oxygen and has a feeding tube to give him nutrition. He can raise his arms about halfway off the bed, and we have finally been able to visit him. 

When they feel he is ready, the next step is for John to go to a rehabilitation facility where he will hopefully get stronger each day. The doctors say that regaining his health will be a long journey. 

Since it will be a long time before John is strong enough to care for himself and take care of all his responsibilities, we would love to be able to give him a hand up with medical bills, household bills and hiring any help he may need around his house and farm.

We are so thankful that John has the love and support from all of his friends and family all across the country. We know your prayers have been working and that he would appreciate your continued prayers for health, strength and endurance during the long fight he has ahead of him. 

We will be doing everything we can here to help him and Dawn stay strong and get through this long and difficult journey.
