Supoort John’s Journey Helping With Medical and Car Expenses
Donation protected
Hello, Im John Cahill. This is something I hate doing but I can’t get ahead. I am disability retired due to my amputation and other health issues. Life has been a struggle but I try not to talk about it or show it. I have sold and am still trying to sell things to put gas in my gas tank toward the end of each month. I know we are all struggling and for me it’s embarrassing for me to do this from time to time. I don’t spend recklessly or waste money. My extra money goes into my gas tank so I can visit new amputees to offer support, encouragement and information to them about life after being amputated. I also go to amputee meetings, church and small groups for my own support and encouragement. I believe in being transparent and real.
This money that would donated to me would go to paying off a couple medical bills from my eye surgery, an Urgent Care visit and a a bill from my kidney specialist appointment.
My biggest worry is my vehicle. It is in desperate need of an oil change and transmission maintenance. The transmission maintenance can only be done at the dealership due to it being sealed. Without my vehicle I am trapped because I am unable to drive a vehicle without hand controls.
When all the medical bills are paid off and the vehicle maintenance taken care of I want to be able to have some funds left over to put gas in my tank to be able to attend some of my daughters college softball games and possibly get a couple of new pairs of shoes. It saddens me because I haven’t been able to go to hardly any of her games at all and see them live. I thank the colleges for having live stream but sometimes it’s not the same as being there in person to support your child. People that know me know that I am my kids biggest fan.
The bills I have are..
Eye surgery bill - $371.81
Urgernt Care bill - $420
medical bill - $407.71
Oil Change - $80.00
Transmission Maintenance - $289 plus tax
I truly appreciate anyone that can help. Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me.
