Help Johnny Recover From Stroke

 

 

 

John Mato has entertained us all at Marshall Stack with his wit, indomitable spirit, great music taste, and genuine friendship. He is one of the hardest working guys I know. January 7 he was feeling numb on the left side of his body. He soldiered on and did his best, but on January 10 it was too much. He was taken to the emergency room and diagnosed with a stroke. He spent several days at NYU Langone for testing and recovery. He is home and resting, but has now accrued a huge medical bill. He is not able to work. Like most of us he has no savings and is asking for our help. As a bartender in NYC he is uninsured and has no coverage for the huge medical bills that are looming.
