Our beloved friend, Jola Chmielewska, was in the passenger seat of an Uber when her life was shattered in an instant. A drunk driver, speeding the wrong way down I-390 in Itasca, crashed head-on into the car.

The impact was catastrophic.

Jola was left with devastating injuries to her head and body. She’s now in a coma, clinging to life — each breath a battle, each hour a question mark.

No one should ever have to receive that phone call. No family should ever have to face this kind of heartbreak — the kind that brings you to your knees, that makes time stand still.

Wczesnym niedzielnym porankiem 6 Kwietnia,2025 wydarzyła się tragedia, której nikt nie mógł się spodziewać.

Nasza ukochana przyjaciółka, Jola Chmielewska, była pasażerką w Uberze i wracala spokojnie do domu . Nagle pijany kierowca, jadąc pod prąd autostradą I-390 w Itasce, uderzyl w auto w ktorym znajdowala sie Jola.

Uderzenie było czolowe.

Jola doznała rozległych obrażeń głowy i ciała. Obecnie znajduje się w śpiączce, w stanie krytycznym — walczy o życie z każdą sekundą, z każdym oddechem.

Telefon, którego nikt nigdy nie chcialby odebrać... To koszmar, którego żadna rodzina nie jest w stanie sobie wyobrazić — ból, który rozdziera serce i zatrzymuje czas.

Jola jest sercem wielu żyć — osobą, która wnosi ciepło, która potrafi słuchać i zawsze oferuje pomocną dłoń. Jest światłem, uśmiechem i dobrem w najczystszej postaci. A teraz to ona potrzebuje nas — bardziej niż kiedykolwiek.

Przed nią długa, niepewna droga. Czekają ją operacje, intensywna rehabilitacja, ciągła opieka medyczna. Ciężar emocjonalny i finansowy dla niej i jej rodziny jest przytłaczający.
