Help Jon Nagel Kick Throat Cancer's Butt

Hello! My warm-hearted, hilarious, and wonderful husband, Jon Nagel, was recently diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer. The main tumor is in his throat, right at the base of his tongue, and has metastasized to the lymph nodes on the right side of his neck. Treatment will be chemotherapy and radiation. He won't be able to work for awhile, and although we have insurance, it doesn't cover everything (and of course there are co-pays). Jon is in good spirits-- "terrifine," he says. A combination of terrified and fine! This kind of cancer has a good prognosis, and we're going to give it everything we've got to get him through it and out the other side. With your help, we can keep a roof over his head, food in the kitchen, and pay the newly astronomical PG&E bills. Thank you so much for considering contributing to this fund!
