Help Jon’s Stroke Recovery

As you may know, on July 12th Jon (Jonathan) Banaszak suffered a medical emergency resulting in a stroke at the age of 34.  He spent just over 2 weeks in the hospital, undergoing 2 surgeries followed by intense, inpatient physical therapy.  Thankfully, Jon is on the road to recovery, he came home from the hospital and stayed a week with our parents and this week is back in his own home. He’s hoping to return to work soon but on a reduced schedule, at first, while he and his body continue to heal. 

Now that he’s home, the reality of such a medical emergency is setting in, the medical bills are starting to flow in and his lost wages for a month out of work is hitting his finances hard. Jon is a single dad to two awesome boys.  We’re hoping to raise $5,200 to help offset his medical bills and lost wages during this difficult time,  so Jon can continue to focus on his ongoing recovery.
