Help Jonas and Brit Rebuild After The Eaton Fire

Please help us (Nikolai and Raina) in our efforts to get Nikolai’s brother and sister-in-law, Jonas and Brit, back on their feet after losing everything in the Eaton Fire. After repatriating to the US from the Netherlands in order to begin an adoption journey and living in three different temporary rentals, Jonas and Brit finally settled into what was going to be a long-term rental home just a couple of months ago.

Now, their neighborhood and all of Altadena have burned down, and they have lost everything with the exception of a few small family keepsakes, a laptop, and a week's worth of clothes. They are lucky to have had the foresight to safely evacuate to our house when they did with both their cats.

They feel very fortunate for everything they still have and for their family and friends offering support. But they haven't even begun to wrap their heads around what rebuilding their lives will take.

Please help in any way you can, be it here or in another capacity. Your contributions will go towards the financial burden of finding new housing, appliances, furniture, clothes and all new belongings.
