Help Jonathan attend UC San Diego

Hey guys, I’m Jonathan Cornejo, a Senior at West Adams Senior High. On March 17th, I received my admission letter from UC San Diego. However, after viewing my financial aid, my EFC was over $3,000, and my unmet need was over $9,000+, bringing down my chances of attending my dream college due to financial struggles. My mother and I alone can’t cover such a huge yearly cost, even with her two jobs and my part-time job. But thanks to the LA Times journalist Teresa Watanabe, she has helped share my story with you all. I’m truly grateful to all of those who wish to support me achieve my journey at UC San Diego. Your contributions, will be used to help cover mandatory fees (board and tuition: $5,000) and any additional funds will be used for academic expenses and tuition for the following years at UCSD. My sister, Andrea Rodriguez, will manage all your funds for now, and later pass them on to me once I have my bank account set up. Thank you all so much.
