Help Jonathan Bohannon fix his arm

Hello, My name is Jonathan Bohannon.

I’m a Bassist and Cabinet builder in Denver, Colorado.

Recently I broke my elbow. Being a musician and breaking my arm is devastating. The thought that I may have played my last note was terrifying. I have spent the last month pushing myself through painful therapy to regain my mobility and strength.

It took 33 days before I was even able to pick up a bass again, and it was like completely starting over. At 60 days, I’m now playing for a few minutes to half a hour a day, and feel very blessed.

I’m still not able to work my day job as a cabinet builder and have weeks, if not months, of therapy before I can return to normal. Either way, I consider myself so lucky to come back from such a horrible injury.

I’m trying to post videos of my bass rehab as well as updates on my injury, on my Facebook. I hope to get back to music and work as soon as possible. I’m thankful for anything you can contribute to my medical bills. The $1400 I’m trying to raise would cover the rest of the cost of my surgery. I have depleted my savings to cover the rest. Anything else I can raise would help greatly with any additional medical bills that will be coming, as well as therapy appointments for my arm and hand.
