Help Jonel Rebuild Her Life After Stroke

It is taking ALOT for me to come on here and do this because I am a VERY prideful person, but right now it’s not about me it’s about my wife Jonel who is only 37yrs old. On 9/10/24 my wife and I went to bed she was completely fine and normal so never worried about anything, well on 9/11/24 I was working which I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 I am in the office. My wife woke up and my work is set up in my bedroom, she walked to the bathroom and banged into the wall I chuckled because I figured she was half asleep still she chuckled as well. She says she noticed something was wrong when she couldn’t hold the toilet paper in her hand but still didn’t think anything. Well when she came out of the bathroom she sat on the bed and said baby I think something is wrong my back was facing her I immediately turned around and said wait repeat what you just said and so she did and I instantly knew she was having a stroke. I did the stroke tests on her and being in the medical field I KNEW. I called 911 the ambulance came her bp was 210/109. She was rushed to the Emergency Room where doctors were rushing to her aid. She actually had 2 strokes in her temple. The neurologist said she had the strokes in a weird place of her brain. It happen on her right side which affected her left side. She spent 7 days in ICU and was able to come home on day 8. She now uses a rollator and a cane. She has to do physical therapy 2x a week and speech and occupational therapy 1x a week. She can’t drive, cook, shower or get dressed on her own anymore. I am her full time care taker now and being she is not working and it’s now a 1 income coming in, I am reaching out for help with some of her medical costs as she is not covered for EVERYTHING. She is only allowed a certain amount on visits per year the rest I have to cover out of pocket and trust me I have put in an appeal she also takes certain meds that her insurance don’t cover. If you live in the south then you know how insurance is. My wife is such a beautiful person inside and out and genuinely has a pure heart. I am still confused why this would happen to her. She was a huge provider for her family and this has made her very depressed not being able to do for herself or family. I will keep pushing her everyday to keep going to get stronger and back to herself. With GOD anything is possible.
