Fishy's recovery
Donation protected
Our great friend Jordan (Fishy) has suffered a serious injury.
By way of background, in approximately 2014 Jordan was working as a plumber on a roof and fell approximately 6m. He shattered his elbow to the point where it needed to be reconstructed with plates, pins and all sorts of other medical apparatus. It was a miracle he didn't die. After years of rehabilitation, painful surgeries and emotional distress Jordan recently start his own plumbing company with the support of his loving partner Kylie and cheeky step-son Koa. Things were looking up. Business was booming and he couldn't have been happier. Jordan and Kylie recently purchased some land and they are in the the process of building their family home.
On the Queens birthday weekend, tragedy struck. Jordan was in a serious ATV accident and injured the same elbow among other serious injuries. Following the accident, Jordan was urgently airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital for possible life saving surgery.
At this stage the prognosis is uncertain, but serious enough that Jordan won't be able to work for a significant period of time and will require ongoing rehabilitation.
His family is located in Warrnambool and the travel, medical and living bills are already stacking up.
Jordan is an active member of the community and regularly donates his time to community causes. For example, he has assisted renovate a property to raise funds for the Russells Creek Cricket Club.
It is time for us to help Jordan and his family at this terrible time. I know that he would be the first person to put his hand in his pocket to help his mates. I hope that you will do the same.
We will provide updates as they come to hand. In the interim, we ask that you donate so his that family can support him at this terrible time. Accomodation, meals and travel are not cheap and Kylie and Koa need as much of your support as they can get during this difficult time.
Be safe out there.
With thanks.
