Help Jordan Caver Get To National STEM Program

Hi, I am Jordan, a rising sixth-grader who loves to play Roblox and serve in the dance ministry at my church. I also enjoy learning about animals

and insects. Recently I have been nominated to represent my school and the community at the National Leadership Youth Forum Pathways to STEM in Atlanta. By attending NYLF Pathways to STEM, I will join other motivated students from around the country for an experiential

Leadership/Career Exploration Program.

 

This program will allow me to be a full-time resident at the prestigious Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, GA, for a whole week! NYLF Pathways toSTEM is a unique learning experience for bright, forward-thinking elementary school students who will evolve into next-generation

innovators, engineers, doctors, software developers, and scientists.

 

As you can see, this will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with respected professionals in various while building

relationships with students who will be my future colleagues. Attending this program will allow me to further my interest in technology and reach my career goal of becoming a Gaming Engineer. I maintained a 3.4 GPA, am involved in Spanish and Band, and was recently awarded for my

service and leadership; also a rising star in my academic and social skills.

 

Imagine if you had been given this opportunity for a life-changing experience when you were in school and were unable to participate for

lack of funds—that is why I am starting my fundraiser.

My participation in the program depends on whether I can raise $2,800 in sponsorships and fundraising. I am investing every dollar I can of my own money to ensure I don’t miss out on this unique experience, and I am also taking on extra jobs to raise the funds I need. In addition,

through my family, friends, and neighbors, I have already raised $400.

 

That leaves me with a balance of $2,400, and I am hoping that you will

consider assisting me with all or some of these costs.
