Help Jordan Overcome Flood Devastation

Hello Family and Friends:

We as family of Jordan Vanden Heuvel are establishing a fund raising campaign to help our son and brother rebuild his life from scratch due to the devastating flood in Spencer, Iowa (June 22,2024). Jordan's situation is incredibly challenging especially because of no insurance or other sources of income. Jordan resided in the basement apartment connected to the restaurant where he works full time as a chef in Spencer. In times like these, community support can make a significant difference. The kindness and generosity of family and friends can play a vital role in aiding Jordan as he works to rebuild and start a new after losing everything Jordan has. Such initiatives can offer practical support and emotional relief showing Jordan that he is not alone in this journey to recovery. Offering prayers for Jordan's well being and recovery can provide comfort, strength, and hope during this trying period. The power of prayer can uplift spirits during times like these. Thoughts and prayers are a very meaningful way for those unable to contribute financially to show support and solidarity. Gods word reminds us to trust in him always. Here are a few favorite Bible verses of God reminding us to love each other and to always trust him. Romans 15:13 -May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust him and 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain, faith hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Please also pray for all of the people in Spencer and Rock Rapids, Rock Valley and many other flooded areas in Iowa and South Dakota.
