Help Jordan with Education Opportunity

Hello all! For those of you reading this that don’t know me, my name is Angelique Roman and I’m the mother of an amazing young man named Jordan. To provide some background; Jordan has consistently excelled both academically, and within our community, by approaching his life with sheer determination, kindness and a wonderful “get-it-done” attitude. He’s currently a junior at Coral Reef High School and an “A” student in the International Baccalaureate program. He actively serves as a fellow for Miami-Dade School Board District member Luisa Santos and is the Executive Vice President for Coral Reef’s Future Business Leaders of America. In addition, he started his own nonprofit last year to better serve our community. Last week, our family celebrated one of Jordan’s proudest achievements when he was accepted into a global summer program at our nation’s most prestigious Ivy League school, the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. UPenn has always been Jordan’s dream school and this summer program will take place on-campus in Philadelphia. As a family, we are very proud of his accomplishment as UPenn, Wharton only accepts the best and brightest students from the U.S and around the world. My intention with this GoFundMe is to humbly ask for financial assistance to secure his attendance. I recently applied to the school’s financial aid program and was unfortunately denied, which means that I am responsible for paying full tuition, room and board. Any donations from caring family, friends and strangers will be gratefully received by our family and provide Jordan the necessary means to attend this summer. I believe this program is a phenomenal opportunity for Jordan to learn global leadership skills from our nation’s top educators and work alongside many international students.
