Help Jordyn Finish Her Junior Year at Howard!

Hello my name is Jordyn Hendley, I am a Junior Psychology major, double minoring in Biology and Chemistry on the Pre-Med track at Howard University. I intend to either pursue OB/GYN medicine to combat the Black Maternal Health Crisis or Forensic Physiatry to investigate the misdiagnosis of mental and behavioral health and mass incarceration of Black and Brown youth. As a first generation in college student raised by a single parent, my cost of attendance at Howard University has been primarily provided for by scholarships, work study, and my part-time patient caregiver salary. However, because the demands of my pre-med courseload has progressed, I've had to shorten work hours - and thus my registration for the fall semester of my senior year is at jeopardy. My family and community has always supported my dreams of being a physician, which is why I intend to utilize my studies to give back to the very communities that helped me get to where I am.
