Help Jory Recover and Catch Up on Bills

Hi! I’m Jory.

You might be wondering how I managed to get myself into this situation..

I was at work, running some tasty fried Gyoza ( the perfect complementary side dish to their steaming bowl of Ramen) when I pivoted , slipped in a puddle of water, steadied myself and walked a few steps when I noticed my hand had been impaled between the thumb and forefinger by a roughly 6 inch dirty metal ticket stabber. Apparently I was white as a sheet.

The pain was excruciating.

I was then helped over to a table where a very kind lady asked questions to distract me until I was loaded up onto a stretcher and whisked off to the emergency room at Dell Seton on red river where after some x rays and ( thankfully ) rather short lived acquaintance with a rather large piercing… some two hours later a nurse held my right hand at the wrist and fingers while a physician pulled ( hard) and stared at the blood pouring down my hand when I heard the clink of metal tumble into a large sharps container.

I was finally cleared to go back to work yesterday however I am so behind on bills as up until that point Work had been so slow and despite my all of the applications I’ve filled out, scouring posts to look for cash gigs and the like I’ve been completely bled dry.

Currently I am $700 behind on rent. One of my Three roommates is moving out and I’ve had to transfer all utilities over to my name and this Friday my brother is going to take me to see my grandfather who has congestive heart failure on Friday In San Antonio which puts me further behind but having just lost my Grandmother not two months ago and not attending her funeral due to distance and financial constraints I just don’t want to lose him without seeing him one last time.

I know there are a lot of people hurting financially right now and a lot of people struggling who have been hurt worse than me not to mention a glut of online scammers so I would like to differentiate my post with an offer.

Rather than just ask for financial help I would like to offer to work in exchange for any donations.

do you need help hanging pictures, cleaning, Packing, weeding , Gardening or any thing I haven’t mentioned? I got you covered to the absolute best of my abilities.

I’m also a trained phlebotomist and lab technician and looking for a job so I can get out of restaurants so if you know someone who needs a hard-working and competent individual to work PRN shifts or full-time in a clinic or lab setting, I’ll come in and interview if you would like .

Also I can include supporting documents and paperwork, and post them with Sensitive data redacted to validate everything written above. Oh boy, oh Oh
