Hi everyone , this is a fundraiser for Jose Molina who has been working with IBEW Local Union 716 as a Journeyman Electrician who he has been working with for 14 years , he had pride for his work as well as respecting his mates . On August 22 , 2018 , Jose Molina was working near Galena Park at a High School and was working with circuits on a 12” ladder , he was hit by an energized 277v circuit and fell off the ladder causing him to fracture his pelvis in 5 parts , vertebrae L4 and L5 not in its place and shifted inwards , nervous system that controls the bladder and functions the prostate are all damaged causing him to not deal with his movements. His right leg does not respond like he wants (twitching and chronic pain , uses cane/ crunches to move around). His right arm tendons and muscles torn off the bone and had a surgery done with 3 openings back in September 2018 to reattach all muscles and tendons BACK to the bone (doctors have told him he has less than 50% movement till this day) , left arm his tendons and muscles were damaged and some are torn off the bone (doctors have shown him MRI this year, to show him he has damage in his left arm and needs surgery ASAP which will be done April 21 , 2022) it’s been a battle fighting with Workers Comp causing us and him to fall behind on medical bills and everything else at home . Workers Comp have gave him no type of help on his back and barely helped with both of his arms.
