Help Jose Raygoza Rebuild After Carjacking

Hi, I’m Angeltookthepic, a street photojournalist from Los Angeles, CA.

I’m creating this account on behalf of Jose de Jesus Raygoza and his family whose lives were severely impacted on July 10th, 2024.

On the morning of July 10th, Jose Raygoza became a victim of a carjacking and was assaulted with a deadly weapon after returning home from the grocery store with his family.

The carjacker not only crashed Mr. Raygoza’s vehicle which he used for work but also stole everything that was inside the vehicle including 2 months of rent, $300 of groceries, all of Mr.Raygoza’s tools that he utilized for mechanical work, his wife’s phone and wallet which contained important documents such as her ID’s, credit cards, their children’s social security cards, and their medical cards.

Mr.Raygoza was left with an open laceration on his head and was unable to receive medical treatment because he’s uninsured and cannot afford medical insurance.
