Help Joseph to fund his dental repairs.
Hello everyone!
I was working with Changeling Theatre company on their 20th anniversary open air summer tour of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" where I was playing Lysander and Peter Quince. In our second to last week of touring whilst in the beautiful venue of Osbourne house on the Isle of White, I had a nasty fall landing on my face.
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2019 and due to a miscalculation in my insulin injections before a company breakfast on the beach, I had a severe hypoglycaemic episode and collapsed. This resulted in a complete Le Fort fracture on the left side and undisplaced fracture on the right side of my face resulting in no mobility in my mid face. Fortunately this and fractures in my nose will heal over time however as a result of the fall I am going to have to have a series of private dental appointments to fix the damage to my teeth.
Some of the dental work has already taken place including x-rays and denture impressions other dental costs include extractions, denture fittings, composite restorations and eventually a more permanent replacement for my front tooth. That is where I need as much help as I can get. Due to the nature of my work as an actor I need a good quality replacement to ensure the quality of my sung and spoken speech is maintained and I can carry on working as effectively as possible and that my casting isn't too badly effected. As of yet I am undecided of whether I should go for a bridge or an implant replacement, as well as many other factors a lot of this is dependant on the funds I can raise to contribute to these costs.
I would be so grateful to anyone who is able to help me cover these costs in the next few months. Whether you can donate 50p or 50 pounds you would be having a huge impact on my life and career moving forward. Thank you so much in advance for anything you can spare to help me. I love you all!
Joseph xxx
