Help Joseph get New Hearing Devices

Hi, my name is Joseph and I am fundraising to get new hearing devices.

I became deaf back in 2006. After lots of testing to see if there was anything the doctors could do, I got my 1st cochlear implant in 2008. I received my 2nd in 2013. Every since I received my 1st implant, my audiologists and doctors have said that I have been an exceptional patient and the implant is working awesome for me!

Along with my hearing loss, I have a severe tremor throughout my body, but worse in my hands… And I also have pinched nerves in my neck which is causing numbness in my fingers. I am now to the point to where I cannot feel my fingers anymore… This has made it very difficult to do the simple task of putting my hearing devices on… It has also made it difficult (Sometimes impossible, depending on how bad I am shaking.) to change my batteries. Because of my tremors I tend to break the cable on my device within just a few months of receiving a new one.

The new devices that I am fundraising for do not have any cables and they have internal batteries. They also have wireless charging. So I will be able to put my hearing device on and charge my batteries without any help.

If I were able to receive this upgrade to these new devices, it would really help me to be able to take care of myself more and it would also help me to stop breaking my cables (because there aren’t any on the new devices)!
