Help Joseph Tsomik Walk Again

For those of you who already know and for those of you who are not yet aware, our friend, Joseph Tsomik, was involved in a horrific accident this week wherein he was accidentally shot in the neck with a handgun. The bullet pierced through his neck, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down at the current moment.

Doctors do not know if he will ever walk again or even if he will be able to use his arms. His only chance of some recovery at this point is neuro/spinal surgery by the hands of a very competent surgical trauma team.

We are all in the process of trying to get Joey transferred to Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, which we have been informed is his greatest chance of success. However, insurance issues and bureaucracy have made us hit a wall. 

At this point, we are starting this page to raise money to cover whatever Joey's medical care and treatment will cost his wife, Monalisa, as we are not even what insurance will cover.

We ask that all of those who know and love Joey donate to help with his current and future medical care and other expenses that his wife may incur as a result.
