Help Josh Deliver Food to WNC Residents Affected by Helene

Hi, I'm Josh, an Asheville resident and local weather enthusiast. After the devastation left behind from Helene, I wanted a way to personally give back to the community I love, WNC. I'm hosting this fundraiser in an effort to provide food to locals directly. I'm personally withdrawing and managing the donation funds, so I can direct supplies more efficiently.

Right now, stores and gas stations are closed and power is out. Locals have no way to get food or water. Roads are washed out and families are trapped in remote mountain valleys. With every dollar donated, I will personally deliver food and water into hard hit areas to local WNC residents.

We handed out the last of our current supplies at the Asheville Mall.

The funds should come through in 2-5 days. As soon as they do, I'll load up a U-Hail truck full of food, water, canned goods, clothes of all sizes, feminine products, pet food, first aid, etc.

We've heard Bernardsville, NC was hit hard and is mostly unnaccessable right now. We plan to get there before the end of the week, with the U-haul and supplies, using whatever means necessary to provide supplies for the community. It will be backpacked in if needed.
