Help Josh McLaurin Fight Liver Failure

Hi my name is Erin Salyer-Mclaurin, wife of Joshua Ray Mclaurin. On 12/15/23 Josh was admitted and diagnosed with Liver Failure.

In light of these challenging circumstances, I am initiating this fundraiser seeking support to help alleviate the burden of Medical Bills, Prescriptions, and Living Expenses.

Josh is currently unemployed and has been very ill since his diagnosis. Josh’s Doctor said he is in poor health and continues to face many complications such as Hepatic Encephalopathy, Electrolyte Disturbances and many other issues.

Since his last hospital stay we’ve learned he will need a Liver Transplant to survive. His doctor has given him a Mortality Rate of 1-5 years without a transplant. There are so many factors involved with getting on the list. Most importantly his body has to be healthy enough but currently his labs are terrible. They are requiring more procedures and Specialists such as Nutritionist, Physical Therapist and Oncologist. Receiving this type of information has been very difficult to process. I will update as we navigate through this situation.

Josh is determined to beat the odds he has been given, and we believe through the power of prayer that he will be able to do so.
