Help Josh Pearce Overcome Medical Challenges

My name is Danielle and my family and I have decided to start a GoFundMe Account for my cousin Josh Pearce. Six months ago on February 5th, Josh had

been ill for about a week and a few days after an ER visit had to be life flighted due to an intestinal rupture to AHN Wexford.

Unfortunately due to the perforation, Josh had extensive surgery which resulted in a colostomy bag. He was in the ICU for 3 days and hospitalized for 12 days with several drains. Post operatively they found he developed an abscess (infection) between his Spleen and Left Lower Lung, and presented with fevers and high WBC levels. Over the last six months Josh has had several readmissions, multiple ER visits, office visits, and so many CT scans we lost count. Due to the location of the abscess it has been difficult to treat and he is still fighting this battle.

First and foremost we THANK GOD that he is still with us today. We cannot express how grateful we are for all of the prayers as we know they have been covering Josh. Josh still has a long road of recovery and reversal surgery in his future.

Josh has a wife, Shannon who has never left his side taking on so many tasks to support Josh and the boys. Josh’s 3 boys (Jackson, Jacob, and Arlen) are always by his side along with their love for their Cane Corsos. Josh has been faithful and looking to God for strength and peace every day. We would like to help ease the burden of all the medical expenses and the partial loss of income for Shannon during this difficult time.
