Unfortunately, Due to the nature of this cancer it has taken Josh's life much sooner than any of us would have ever wished for and with this comes funeral costs. We tried to seek out financial assistance to decrease the costs, but we were not eligible which means that even with the funds that we have saved from the GoFundMe we are still looking at a large expense to the family and in a time like this it is the last thing that anyone should be thinking about but unfortunately, we are and we need your help.
I want to thank you all for everything you have done for us through this time but i want to ask again for you to share with everyone you know, contact anyone you can and talk about this with everyone so that this amazing man can have the most treasured and special service that is truly representative of him and everything he achieved in his short but magnificent life.

Hi, My names Lauren and I have started this go fund me to help out some people who are doing it really tough at the moment.
I have known these amazing people for 10+ years, they are strong, inspiring people who have so much love and happiness to spread and I just want to spread a little back there way!
Josh is 24 years old and has suffered from headaches for the last few months and has been unable to work. So, he then like most of us went to the Doctors and found out news that shocked him. A large golf ball sized tumor was growing behind his eye. This was pushing his eye out if the socket and also causing damage to the inside of his skull.
After a biopsy the news was not what anyone would want. It was cancerous. The Doctors have told Josh and his Family that it is a rare form of cancer called NUT Carcinoma, I won't go into details about the cancer, you can do some googling but drs said to expect the worst and this is the worst. They have said there is going to be Chemo and Surgery to remove the tumor. The chance of losing the eye is almost certain and we don't know when this surgery will happen so at the moment it is pain management and that's not going well with multiple ambulance trips and hospital visits the pain is still very bad and drs are just not sure how to manage it.
He lives at home with his mum Shellie, and his 15yo sister Payton and they have been doing the best they can to look after him but Shellie works full time and has used up all her sick and annual leave taking care of him, the meds that he needs now are going to cost a lot of money but it is the only thing that is going to keep the pain down and to keep him at home with his family and as pictured his Beautiful cat Goku, the only thing he loves more than his family.
Josh just wants to be around his amazing sisters of which he has 4, around his cat and be able to spend the time that he has around the people he loves most and this go fund me will do that to be able to give him and his family the ability to live while they go though one of the hardest times of their lives.
So I'm hoping by sharing this story with everyone we can get some donations from people who care just a little to see this family thrive, to see them spend time together until they know what the next steps in his treatment plan are.
