Help Josh update his medical equipment!

My name is Shannon and I have been best friends with Josh & Kali for over 10 years now. Being so close to them I see first hand the struggles they try to hide from others, when it comes to their day to day life. As many know Josh fell back in 2022 and broke his leg, and unfortunately due to that he was never able to walk again because of his Muscular Dystrophy. When that happened their friends and family came together and was able to raise funds for them to redo their bathroom shower and without that Josh would have to find an alternative way to do basic hygiene. It has been a huge blessing for them in many ways. Now 2 years later Josh is in the progress of getting a ceiling hoyer lift installed in their home to make things a heck of a lot easier for them. This is going to make it possible for him to fully get placed into bed - currently he is unable to and really struggles with the transfers/adjusting aspect. It is also going to transfer him from the bed (or chair) to the bathroom, to shower and use the bathroom - currently he is using a bedside commode, and an expanding shower chair. They are also hoping to get a unit that is able to be moved and move the motor to the living room and have a track in there so Josh can be out of his chair and be able to sit on the couch. Being on the couch would be a huge benefit for him, since he spends all his time in his wheelchair. It also would be a huge blessing for the boys to be able to finally have the ability to snuggle up next to their dad. I am wanting to help them raise funds to help with the cost that Josh’s waiver wont cover, also to help get him the new misc equipment - he is going to need a new shower chair, bedside rails, toilet bars, etc.) he is going to need. They have been fighting for 2 years now to get some sort or normalcy back, and I really think this is going to be a huge step in the right direction for that. Please consider helping them fully make this happen, or please share to spread the word.
