Help Us Bring Mary's Story to Life!

Hello, I'm filmmaker Joshua Williams and I'm looking for support in making my short biblical film about Mary of Bethany. I believe this is one of the most powerful stories in the Gospels. The amount of courage and love she had for Jesus to sacrifice a rare expensive perfume that, in modern times would be worth about $60,000... instead of using it for personal gain, Mary decided to bathe the feet of Jesus in it. Think about that, she poured $60,000 on Jesus’ feet. Would any of us do that?

It truly takes an incredible amount of faith to sacrifice our possession for the Lord, which is the kind of faith He asks of us to have. I want the short film to focus on that powerful moment and to dive deep into the heart of Mary and what could’ve been happening within her internally in that moment. I want this short film to also be an encouragement, a reminder, and a lesson on the kind of brave and bold faith we all can have.
