This is a fundraiser to help Jovi, Jovi(al) Antics on Facebook. Jovi is a blind and deaf Great Dane. Due to Jovi’s challenges, finding and affording a dog trainer has been difficult for Jovi’s pawrent, Brynn. Any amount that you can spare to help Jovi is greatly appreciated. Jovi is a tough dog. She is a very very tough dog. But my G-d do I love her. There are days like today when I feel like I do not do enough for her.

 

She is not housebroken and I’m struggling to get her there.

 

She has such horrific separation anxiety that I have to plan any kind of chore run around who can watch her or if the store can do curbside

 

Her sleep schedule is so backwards that I cannot sleep because she requires constant attention.

 

I’ve had four trainers quit on us because “you can’t train a deaf and blind dog”

 

She is closing in on 120 pounds and still struggles walking on a leash.

 

Despite everything I am doing; I just feel like I’m

Not doing enough for her.

 

This is the reality of a special needs dog.

 

I’m in tears. Not because of her. Jovi is my life, her and Henri. She will never be unloved or rehome or abandoned. She will never be hurt or scared of me. I will always be her life and she will always be mine.

 

But days like this are tough.

 

I need a doggie daycare for special needs dogs. Many in my area won’t take her.
