Help Judah After His Wrongful Arrest By LAPD

Donation protected
My friend Judah Adkins was WRONGFULLY ARRESTED at the fault of LAPD during the early morning hours of April 30, 2022. He was detained due to false identification and was charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon, an incident that had occurred hours earlier in DTLA.

Judah had never left campus that night. He was eventually acquitted of all charges.

HOWEVER, he spent two weeks in LA County Jail where he experienced horrendous living conditions, cell confinement for upwards of 18 hours a day, and intense psychological damage. Even after he was proven innocent thanks to the Life360 on his phone, USC suspended him indefinitely, even denying his appeal a month later.

Even after all charges were dropped, Judah was forced to wear an ankle monitor for three months, inhibiting his ability to work to pay for his tuition.

His suspension was finally lifted around the end of June 2022 after tireless efforts.

THE MOST COMPENSATION THAT THE SCHOOL HAS OFFERED IS ALL A'S FOR THE SPRING 2022 SEMESTER.

Judah is a first-generation, Black/Hispanic USC student in SCA. His parents are divorced; his dad is unemployed, and his mom is a social worker. He receives substantial financial aid. However, this case has caused great financial damage to his family; his mom even had to take out a loan to cover the costs of travel, lawyers, etc.

This is undoubtedly a case of racial profiling, as DPS incident reports, both external and internal, are extremely vague (take a look yourself). USC has refused to acknowledge the defilement they have committed towards one of their students and proved to be no help during the trial and its aftermath.

While the school chooses to protect white students on Frat Row by censoring their names and allowing them to continue their educations, even after he was proven innocent by the courts, Judah, a man of color, was pushed away as far as possible from school limits.

Please help him and his family out by donating what you can so he can find his financial footing once again.
