Help Judith and Ron Get Through This Difficult Time ❤️

Judith Nastally is extraordinarily special to our community. Her capacity and joy in creating beauty, whether through her native plant landscaping business or through the countless relationships she's nurtured as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and treasured friend are gifts to all who know and love her. She's always grateful and amazed by the little things like finding peace in the changing skies of each season. But this winter has brought difficulties none of us could have imagined. Recently, Judith was diagnosed with stage IVB rare cancer, news that continues to shatter our hearts. Even her deep studies of nature, science, and Buddhism could not have prepared her for the journey ahead. Like the plants she so tenderly nurtures, Judith now needs our support to weather this storm.
The devastating diagnosis couldn't have come at a more challenging time. Her husband, Ron Furniss, who has dedicated 44 years as a clinical therapist, lost his position when his non-profit agency unexpectedly closed just a few months prior to her diagnosis. Their safety net has been shockingly pulled away just when they need it most.
The costs of fighting this aggressive cancer are overwhelming and growing – endless tests, medications, travel for treatments, and potential hospital stays have quickly exceeded both their insurance coverage and savings and Medicare supplements will not be available to her until sometime in March. While Judith has spent her life tending to others' gardens and spirits, she now needs our help with her own healing journey.

Every donation, no matter the size, is a seed of hope for her recovery, giving our dear Judith the chance to continue watching the seasons change while creating beautiful spaces for our community. If you've ever walked through one of Judith's gardens, been touched by her gentle wisdom, or felt the warmth of her kindness, please consider contributing to her care.
Let's surround Judith with the same open-hearted love and nurturing she has always given and continues to share with all beings.
With gratitude for your support,
Judith's friends
