Help Judith Fight Alport Syndrome
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Danielle and I am writing on behalf of Judith Arzuaga, a truly wonderful person going through an incredibly challenging time. I have had the good fortune to work with Judith for many years at Mary Lyon Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois. Judith has been a Special Education classroom assistant for a long time. She has a calm and loving presence that has positively impacted countless children and the Lyon school community.
At an early age, Judith was diagnosed with Alport syndrome, a genetic condition that damages blood vessels in your kidneys and can eventually lead to kidney disease and kidney failure. She is waiting to find a kidney donor (please see the link below to learn more about that). Medical bills are piling up and her condition is making it difficult to work.
Judith is someone who has dedicated a large portion of her life to helping a diverse group of children with special needs. Now she is in a position that requires help. I am hopeful through the support of family and friends we can help alleviate some of the financial hardships she is currently going through due to the current numerous hospital visits and eventual kidney transplant she will require.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and please consider donating or sharing Judith's story with others.
