Help Judith Reach Uganda: Farewell to Her Father

Dear Friends,

On July 11th, my dear friend Judith tragically lost her father in Uganda, leaving her with an overwhelming sense of grief and longing especially after not being able to see her father since 2021. Judith and I are fellow students in our MBA program, and her journey since arriving in Canada has been filled with numerous hardships. Despite the challenges she has faced, Judith has shown remarkable strength and resilience, and she has always been a source of inspiration and support for those around her.

Now, as Judith grieves the loss of her beloved father, she would love to travel to Uganda to attend his funeral and find solace with her family during this difficult time. However, the financial burden of such a journey is currently overwhelming, considering her responsibilities as a single mother and the financial constraints she faces.

I hope that we can come together as a community to lend a helping hand to Judith. We have established a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to cover the expenses associated with travel for her and her baby girl, including ticket costs and necessary travel expenses. Additionally, any excess funds will be directed towards supporting Judith and her family in Uganda, providing them with some financial relief during this challenging period.

Your generous contributions will not only assist Judith in fulfilling her heartfelt wish to properly say goodbye to her father but will also provide her with the opportunity to be surrounded by family and friends which will give her the emotional support she needs in this time of loss.
